When I started this blog, I wanted it to be as fun for those who purchased and ate the cake as it is for me to look forward to baking the cake. I must admit that I love making people smile, especially when it comes to food. Currently I basket-weave the frosting on my carrot cake. I could easily make smooth walls on the cake; it would make things easier for me. But I don't want to. I like it just as much when people react to the look of the cake as when they eat it.
But I have to be frank with myself. It's going to take a lot of cakes to get to the goal. And I fear that people will get tired of buying, tired of following, tired of hearing this. I'm depending on you to make this possible and not losing hope on me.
